Thespian Club

Thespian Club is Lucy Beckham's theatre club/International Thespian Society chapter. At Lucy Beckham High School, we proudly sport our troupe number, 10,917!

Students who partake in the club do not have to be enrolled in theatre classes. We talk about theatre happenings and plan extracurricular activities such as cabarets, play festivals, and community service-based events.

As well as this, we attend the SC Thespian Conference in February. There, students compete in individual events, see shows, perform on stage, and get to meet other theatre students from around the state.

As an internationally recognized honors theatre organization, students can get officially inducted into our troupe after completing 100 hours of theatre participation at Lucy Beckham. If you have questions regarding how to get inducted, be sure to email Ms. Goodman!
